Marc Copland (born 1948) is a unique voice in jazz piano. Since the mid-1970s, he has released over 40 critically acclaimed albums as a leader, showcasing his versatility in solos, duos, trios, and larger ensembles. Copland has collaborated with jazz legends like John Abercrombie, Mike Brecker, Joe Lovano, Gary Peacock, and many more. Despite decades in the business, Copland remains a dynamic, evolving artist. Saxophonist Robin Verheyen praises him for his constant innovation and growth, calling him "an inspiration" and a "major voice" in jazz.

In 2016, Copland launched his own label, innerVoice Jazz, after years of recording for prestigious labels such as ECM and Challenge. His performances across the globe have solidified his reputation as a distinctive artist. International critics have hailed his work, with DownBeat calling him an "Editor's pick" and Jazz Magazine awarding his albums the coveted "CHOC" rating. In 2020, he was named the "Number 1 Acoustic Pianist of the Year" by JazzStation.

John Hébert, an in-demand bassist, has been a key collaborator with Copland. A New Orleans native, Hébert has worked with a who's who of jazz, including Lee Konitz, Paul Bley, and Maria Schneider. Copland admires his "unique talent" and intuitive ability to shift direction on a dime. Hébert’s debut album, Byzantine Monkey, earned 4 stars from DownBeat, and he won the “Rising Star Acoustic Bassist” title in DownBeat’s Critics’ Poll for five consecutive years.

Drummer Colin Stranahan, another collaborator, has established himself as one of the top drummers in jazz. Based in Brooklyn, he has worked with Terence Blanchard, Herbie Hancock, and Marc Copland, among others. Stranahan is also a respected educator at prestigious institutions like the Aarhus Royal Academy of Music and London’s Royal Academy of Music.
