Julian Selody: For the Birds

In For the Birds Julian Selody embarks on an exploratory journey to discover the many fascinating aspects of the life of birds. Using computer electronics, field recordings, flutes, and saxophone, Julian will improvise along with our feathered friends. To get closer to a natural listening environment, this will be presented in surround sound.

Julian Selody is a multi-instrumentalist and composer living in Montreal, Canada. When not playing Eastern European Music (Dumai Dunai, Orkestar Kriminal, Lemon Bucket Orkestra), he is engaged in his own creative music pursuits, which involves spending a lot of time in the woods, waters, and mountains.
